The Dept. of
International Business was established in March 1993. The enrollment was
held in |
| 1999.
Besides, we were allowed to establish night school in 1995. In
1999, we had 559 students, 8 class |
| -es,
in the day school and 214 students, 4 classes, in night school.
The night school has been integrated into |
| the
regular system (¥¿³W¾Ç¨î)
in 1997 and it had one more class in 1999. Therefore, we had 5
classes in |
| 2000.
The regular system is an alternative choice for high school and
vocational high school students. |
| Moreover,
it can utilize the teaching resources and fulfill the service
functions of our society. |

The
mission of the Dept. of International Business is to develop
students¡¦ talents enthusiasm, hones |
| -ty,
impartiality, devoutness, diligence, good service attitude and
international macro-vision. Besides, these |
| people
should be able to offer internationalization strategies, develop
and expand international markets and |
| accelerate
the integration of international resources for our domestic
enterprises. By doing so, we could me |
| -et
the demands of society and the policies that the government
carries out such as Economy Flourishing |
| Project,
Asia Pacific Region Operation Center, and World Trade
Organization. |

The
Dept. of International Business has been attaching importance to
globalization and the region |

worthiness
of our students. Moreover, we focus on the training programs of
international languages and |
| negotiation
abilities, the application of computer systems and World Wide
Web, and business ethics. One |
| of
the
features of our teaching is to combine theory and practice.
Besides, we place emphasis on both intern |
| -ationalization
and localization, professional and general education,
international languages, business |
| ethics
and
information-access ability. |
