The Office of Global Engagement (OGE) of Chang Jung Christian University (CJCU) organized the “International Hall of Fame Lecture” by inviting Assistant Professor of Institute of Philosophy of National Sun Yat-Sen University, Dr. Dr. Héctor GONZÁLEZ CASTAÑO, to talk on his translation experiences, his daily life experiences rather than a profession or a job. He mentioned that “humor” translation is more than textural level but involves in deep level of culture and life. During the question and answer session, Professor CASTAÑO led attendees to explore the myth of language and literature further. In addition to the drive to acquire knowledge outside classroom, this lecture brought fruitful learning experience to CJCU students and faculty via international exchange.
