USR Inspiration for Contribution of CJCU International Student to Tanzania

Date:2022/08/08

The USR Office on “Green Community Roots and Shoots Action Plan: from Local to International” of Chang Jung Christian University (CJCU) organized a water quality inspection workshop at two schools in Kigoma, Tanzania. Nathan, a graduate of the 1st year of International Program for Sustainable Development (IPSD), was invited to be one of the lecturers. Nathan, a role model, contributed what he learned in CJCU and Taiwan for the past4 five years to promote public environmental awareness in his home country to change individuals, families, communities, and countries. Nathan took this opportunity to return home and meet his family and friends and his hard work now paid off. Director of USR Office, Kan Ling-Hu, said what’s made to be will always find its way and this inspired IPSD students to study harder. This sharing trip to Africa demonstrated USR influences and helped to begin next mile of USR journey.
