The Office of Global Engagement (OGE) of Chang Jung Christian University (CJCU)officially began the seven-day trip to Kamikatsu-cho Town in Shikoku, Japan.under the “Program for the Development of Featured International Cooperation” on August 1 to deeply understand and practice concepts of global sustainable development. Based on the core of “zero waste and sustainable development,” the team deeply engaged in the local INOW Program to understand how to practice sustainable concepts in daily life. In Kamikatsu-cho, waste has been categorized into 45 types to demonstrate local people’s attitude toward recycling. CJCU students not only participated in sorting and recycling but also learned how to bring the spirit and concepts back to Taiwan.
