On October 15, 2025 Chang Jung Christian (CJCU) held a memorial service officiated by a paster for its students and faculty as well as environmental educational partners by singing hymns together and watching a video reviewing Dr. Goodall’s contribution and participating in a tree planting event after the service at the “Jane Goodall Roots & Shoots Ecological Education Center” on campus to honor Dr. Jane Goodall, the Founder of the Jane Goodall Institute, United Nations Messenger of Peace, and a great world citizen who inspired hope through action and passed away at 91;commitments have been made to continue Dr. Goodall’s Roots & Shoots spirit, allowing hope to keep growing, remembering her wisdom and warmth, and cherishing the beauty she left to the world.
