Lela Omar Abdi, a student in the International Program for Sustainable Development (IPSD) at Chang Jung Christian University (CJCU), won first prize at the WARESA Interdisciplinary Research Competition held from March 27 to 28 at National Taiwan University (NTU). Lela stood out among numerous international participants and earned this prestigious recognition.
Her research was supervised by Professor SIEH, BOR-MING from CJCU Department of Land Management and Development, and she collaborated on the project with her classmate Imanisengwe Jean De Diue.
Lela delivered an outstanding performance and was therefore awarded the “WARESA Travel Grant.” She will represent Taiwan at the Fourth WARESA MIREC International Conference in Berlin,Germany this June.
